On Saturday night, Green River won each of the first three quarters including a huge third period to get by Wayne. A huge fourth quarter by Wayne made the game closer than it really was. The Pirates outscored their opponent 11-10 in the first quarter, 9-6 in the second quarter and 22-5 in the third quarter to have 42-21 lead at the start of the final period. Wayne won that quarter 21-7 to tighten up the score.
