Sub for Santa helps needy families

Contributions by generous county residents help provide Christmas cheer.

The Sub for Santa was a huge success this year, with 190 angels from 70 families being helped for Christmas. The outpouring of the community was said to be overwhelming.

Generous contributions from Circle of Hope, United Way, San Rafael Junior High, Utah Power and Light and Utah Power and Light Employee's Credit Union were indeed appreciated and greatly needed. Also, all of the community who helped by donating, sorting gifts, by doing some of the shopping and the commissioners for the use of their room. It couldn't have been done without the support of this community.

Some of the families were said to be in tears when they saw the generous gifts that were given in behalf of their children.
