The Palmers from Salt Lake just completed a blanket drive for the survivors of the recent earthquake in Pakistan. Thousands are suffering from a severe winter, living in tents and damaged structures. A Dinosaur Paleontology Camp will be held on June 19-23 at the CEU Bone Preparation Lab and Price River Quarry Site. The workshop is designed for incoming 10 through 12 grage high school students. The Tony Awarding-winning Utah Shakespearean Festive's 2006 Macbeth production is coming to Green River High School. 2nd Annual Baseball Camp
There will be two baseball camps at the Huntington Complex on March 24-25 from 9 a.m.-1 p.m. The cost for the camp is $60 or $30 for one day. CASA Volunteers Needed
Each year hundreds of children in Emery and Carbon counties become wards of the juvenile court system due to child abuse, neglect or abandonment. The child welfare system can only devote so much time and attention to each individual case and, consequently, to each individual child. CASA (Court Appointed Special Advocate) Volunteers are ordinary men and women who find it in their hearts and their schedules to help these abused and neglected children.
