Special children learn to dance
|Back; Spardettes April Bulkley and Shadoe Sitterud, RJ Severin, David Darling, Jordan Murray, Travis Tuttle, Michael Hales and Spardettes Karidon Allred, Mallorie Mason and Lacey Branson. Middle; Desiree Brown, Jacque Rezendes, Amy Riley, Stephanie Romano and Mandy Bennett. Front; Kyle Morgan, Kellar Brown, Bethany Brown and Marshall Clarke.|
Special needs children from over all the county participated in a special program sponsored by the Emery County Recreation Center. Spardette advisor Nadene Hinkins along with the Spardettes taught the children a few different dance routines which were later performed for family and friends. The program has been going since 1999 with the help of Nadene Hinkins, the Spardettes and the Emery High facility. This is a great program for the children and the Recreation Center would like to see more special needs children in the future.
