Ken Gunter of Huntington participates in the mountain man run. They begin with building a fire and popping a kernal of popcorn and then running on to shoot targets, throw a tomahawk and knife and chop a turkey's head off and carry it with you.

The BookCliff Muzzleloader Club held their annual spring shoot and rendezvous at the Buckhorn Draw in the San Rafael Swell. Events included an aggregate shoot with silhouettes and paper targets, blackpowder shotgun, team shoot, tomahawk and knife throw and a mountain man run. Bennett Gunderson was the top male shooter and Kathy Gunter was the top female shooter.
