In preparation for the upcoming election, the Emery County Clerk/Auditor and IT Departments will be demonstrating the new election equipment at the following times and places: June 5, Huntington Senior Center, 11 a.m.-2 p.m.; Ferron Senior Center 11 a.m.-2 p.m.; Clawson Town Hall 9 a.m.-5 p.m. June 6, Green River Senior Center, 11 a.m.- 2 p.m.; Castle Dale Senior Center, 11 a.m.-2 p.m.; all Emery County libraries 9:30 a.m.-7 p.m.; June 7-Emery Senior Center 11 a.m. - 2 p.m.
An interactive website link that demonstrates the electronic voting process can also be found at www.emerycounty.com or www.leaveyourprint.com. Come and familiarize yourself with the electronic voting equipment. The primary election will be held June 27. The polls are open from 7 a.m.-8 p.m.
