For the opening performance, all of the contestants, a total of 10, performed a dance routine. Contestants in the Little Miss division were Taran White, Holly Jacobson and Savannah Woolsey. In the Junior Miss division, the contestants were Devyn Mann, Jessica Labrum, Kara Cox and Shelby Huntington. Vying for Miss Castle Dale were Ashlin White, Kristine Johansen and Jacqueline Rogers.

The contestants were escorted on stage by their fathers or brothers to answer the question from Pitchforth. Each young lady was asked, "If you went to Hawaii, what would you do?"

A 10 minute intermission was held while the judges votes were tallied. Judges for the competition were Natalie Blackwell, Jamie Hollingworth and Jessie Ward. The contestants gave appreciation awards to the pageant chairpersons, Angela Huntington and Tera Pickett.

The first award given for the evening was Miss Congeniality. This award went to Devyn Mann. Savannah Woolsey was crowned Little Miss Castle Dale.
