The Emery Medical Center held their third annual Health Fair on Saturday. There were many health related and educational activities. Pam Konakis, from Castleview Hospital was on hand to do free diabetes screening. Also at the fair were: Dr. Shawn Leonard, D.D.S., American Cancer Society and the Domestic Violence Coalition. Car seat safety and installation was addressed as well. Bone density screening was done and free glaucoma checks were held. Hearing tests were given and breast exams were done by Donna Mathis, FNP. The sheriff's office also fingerprinted children and the physical therapy department gave great exercise tips.
