Emery County celebrated Pioneer Day with a number of activities over the Pioneer Day weekend.

Celebrations were held in Castle Dale, Orangeville, Emery and Cleveland. More celebration photos in the Aug. 8 issue of the Emery County Progress.

Parades, trap shoots, black powder shoot, rodeo, kids rodeo, dances, kids games, water slides, foam slides, dinners, breakfasts, lamb fry, programs and fireworks just to name a few events. Local entertainers were also on hand at the celebrations to add enjoyment to those attending.

Look for the Emery County Fair activities to begin Aug. 2 and the Castle Valley Pageant which begins on Aug. 3-5 and Aug. 8-12.
