Carmella and Lydia Wingett. Lydia wins the colt at the rodeo.

On Thursday night of the Desertview Pro Rodeo, Castle Valley Ranch gives away a colt to a lucky rodeo attendee. This year, Lydia Winget won the colt.

Lydia is pictured here with her mom Carmella. Her dad is Jeff Winget. The family lives in Castle Dale during the summer months, and Jeff and Carmella teach school in Bullfrog during the winter months.

Three year old Lydia was holding her ticket and her cousin Braydon Roberts' ticket during the drawing so it is not entirely clear which child won the colt. As a result, the cousins will share the colt.
