School begins Aug. 23

Emery County students will be back in the classroom beginning on Aug. 23.

Teachers will attend opening institute on Aug. 21 at Emery High school and Aug. 22 will be a preparation day for teachers.

County residents are urged to use caution in driving around schools and to observe the school zone speed limit which is 20 mph.

Also be on the alert for children walking and riding bikes to and from local schools.
