Emery High tennis swings big

Malorie Quick and Jessica Hill take the win in the first doubles.

Tennis results

First singles-Whitney Allen lost to Katie Chapman, 3-6, 6-3, 6-2; second singles-Josie Hayward lost to Julie Branson, 6-4, 7-6, 6-2; third singles-Megan Singleton won over Courtney Cook, 3-6, 6-2, 6-1; first doubles-Jessica Hill and Malorie Quick won over Miranda Miles and Megan Ashton, 6-2, 6-3; second doubles-Darrian Huntsman and Laci Erickson won over Kistie White and Jacie Curtis, 6-4, 5-7, 6-4; all of the junior varsity players won their matches. JV includes Adriane Weihing, Kaitlin Potter, Whitney Saupan, Courtney Sitterud, Brittany Hansen, Niki Carter, Holly Howes and Katie Turner.

The Emery High tennis team won the match over South Sevier, and the doubles are undefeated this season.
