The family of Dortha Jewkes Jones is having a open house for her to celebrate her 95 birthday. The open house will be at the Orangeville City Hall on June 30 from 2-6 p.m.
She was born on June 30, 1907 to Joseph H. Jewkes and Loraina Ann Scovill Jewkes in Orangeville. She has lived on the same lot all of her life.
She has been a source of strength and courage to all who know her. She is still active and keeps up her roses and flowers in her yard. She even has a valid active drivers license. She is the oldest person in Orangeville.
