The class of 52 from North Emery High School celebrated their 50th year reunion on June 22 at the Cleveland City Park. Their last reunion was two years ago and they took part in the big school reunion held last year. The former students spent time visiting, eating and looking at pictures of long ago school days. They came from as far away as Washington and Wyoming, but most of the graduates still live in Utah. This class has lost 17 of its former classmates to death. Forty-one of the 61 students who started with the class graduated; some going to work and other things which took them away from the classroom. Classmates sharing memories on this day included: Rita Jensen Alderson, Maudie McElprang Breen, Gene Carlson, Joyce Carlson, Reynold Collard, Ronald Erickson, Sherma Larsen Gardner, Edward Johnson, Marva Dawn Oviatt Jones, Rex Jones, Janet Nielson Leamaster, Shannah Gardner Lewis, Caroleen Larsen Marshall, Georgia Howard McDonald, Melba Allen Oviatt, Celia McArthur Oviatt, LaVee Colby Pierce, Jay Stokes, George Tucker, Verl Ray Tucker and Reid Wilson.
