Benefit held for Caleb Sitterud

County residents gather to help one of their own as they attend the benefit dinner for Caleb Sitterud.

Caleb Sitterud the son of Randy and Cathy Sitterud of Castle Dale, sustained multiple head injuries as a result of a serious car accident. The family and friends are asking for donations to help with all the medical expenses that will be incurred. An account is set up at Wells Fargo.

A benefit dinner was held on Sat., Jan. 20 from 5-9 p.m. at Critter Country Fixins. A roast beef dinner was served and a silent auction was also held during those hours.

At press time, Cathy Sitterud said, "Caleb is doing remarkably well. He is surprising the doctors with his rapid recovery. We are so excited by his recovery and the response and help from the people of Emery County. Emery County is really a place we are proud to call home."
