Letter to the Editor: Agriculture information
While coal mining and the power plants are the greatest part of our local economy, still agriculture is very important. Because of that, all persons, especially farmers would be interested in a series of articles on the Internet about the myths in agriculture and how true or false they are.
These can be seen and read at the Land Stewardship magazine website. One of the latest is on the myth that large scale livestock farms succeed because of the efficiencies of the free market. Besides the small column on an issue, references are given that can be checked for more information.
