Emery High Rodeo Team

The Emery High Rodeo team is preparing for their 2007 rodeo. It will be held April 20-21 at the Castle Dale arena. Sponsorships from local businesses help make this possible. To be a sponsor call VaLynn Sitterud at 687-9019.

Spardettes Spring Show

The Emery High School Spardettes Spring Show will be held on March 15 at 6:30 p.m. in the Spartan Center.

Division of Wildlife Resources RAC

The Division of Wildlife Resources RAC meeting for the Southeastern Region will be held in Green River on March 14 at the John Wesley Powell Museum. One of the topics to be discussed is the number of big game permits to be issued next year.

Poker Ride

A Swell Cure for Cabin Fever Poker Ride will be held March 24. Registration is from 8-11 a.m. Prizes will be given at 1 and 3 p.m. For information call Tom at 381-2244 or Clifford at 384-2325.

BabeRuth signups

Boys ages 13-15 sign-ups will be held on Wed. March 21 at the Recreation Center in Castle Dale from 6-8 p.m. The cost is $65 per participant.

Baseball Camp

Baseball camp will be held March 23-24 at the Huntington Complex from 9 a.m.- 1 p.m. The cost for the camp is $65 for two days or $35 for one day. One on one time with an instructor, the cost is $25 for a half hour. Boys and girls age 8 and up are encouraged to attend. Lunch is provided. Contact Shaun or Kris Bell at 748-2906.

Know Before You Go

An ATV permit class will be held March 22 at the county building at 7 p.m. for ages 8-16 to be legal to drive on public lands. Pre-register at the Recreation office at 75 South 400 East in Castle Dale by March 16. For more information contact Emery Rec at 381-2108.
