The Emery County Sheriff's Office said there has been an increase in the number of dogs running loose in the county. These dogs have been responsible for attacks on sheep in the Ferron area.

The sheriff's office reminds everyone that letting your dog run loose is against the law. Any damage done by the dog is the responsiblility of the dog owner.

Keep your animals in an animal enclosure or chained up.

County residents are encouraged to report any animals causing problems to the sheriff's office at 381-2404.
