Letter to the Editor: Blame the CIA

Editor,

Congress should not cut off funds to our troops like they did to stop the Vietnam war. They need to cut off funds to the CIA and the United Nations, because the CIA has started each war every time we elect a new president.

The CIA gave false information to Pres. Bush and the Senate Intelligence Committee which got us involved in the Iraq war. It was the CIA who promoted the Tonkin Gulf incident (to wag the president"s tail) that started the Vietnam war.

It was the CIA who had Gen. Douglas MacArthur fired by Pres. Truman during the Korean war because we tried to win. It is now the CIA who attempts to keep this war going by not going after Osama Bin Laden, the very symbol of terrorism.
