As part of the annual Melon Days celebration in Green River, the Miss Melon Days queen pageant was held. The theme was, "Best in the West" and the opening number and decorations centered around the theme.

Queen 2006, Leah Swalberg and her family presented the pageant this year.

The men's dance team performed and Miss Emery, Karrie Johansen did a ballet number. Pat Brady was the emcee.
