The Emery County Fair concluded this past week with a host of different activities rounding out the week. Entertainment filled the park each evening and the smell of the lamb fry was in the air. The farm bureau talent find took place as well as the horse races in Ferron. A dutch oven cook-off was held in the park and the children enjoyed the booths and the giant slide. The community theatre provided the entertainment on Thursday and Al Shakespeare sang to audiences on Wednesday. The Val Jensen Band and Terry Taylor, yodeling vocalist were all part of the action. The fair bike ride also took place on Saturday. The Eastern Arts World of Dance entertained fair goers on Saturday as well.
