Deceased truck driver in Green River

The WestWinds truck stop in Green River called the Emery County Sheriff's Office to report a trucking company had called trying to locate a driver they had not heard from in a few days.

WestWinds reported the truck was there in the parking lot and still running. There was no response when they knocked on the door of the truck.

The responding deputy unlocked the truck and found a subject who had been deceased for several days.

Fausett's Mortuary responded to take care of the deceased truck driver whose name was Leon Douglas Hill commonly known as Robbie.

He drove for Shippers Service Express out of Novocross, Ga. He was 58 years old, cause of death has not been determined.

The body was transported to the medical examiner for determination of cause of death.
