Emery County Sheriff LaMar Guymon urged motorists to exhibit extreme caution while driving the streets in Emery County. Two young children have been hit in two weeks time in Huntington. "This is just not acceptable to our county. We urge our drivers to watch for small children and to slow down. No matter what the time of day, exercise good driving habits. Don't talk on cell phones and don't drive when you are distracted. It only takes a moment for a small child to run into the street or enter the street on a bicycle or chasing a ball. It is summer and the children are playing everywhere in our communities. It is up to each of us as individual drivers to watch out for these children. Little children move very quickly and we need to be aware they are out there," said Sheriff Guymon.
