In Emery County on Oct. 21, high winds were clocked at steady at 30 m.p.h. with gusts to 50 m.p.h. in Ferron. A weather station at the home of Nyles Snyder recorded the information. This globe willow in the front yard of the Gordon Bennett residence toppled onto the trampoline, destroying it. In another incident on SR-10 south of Ferron, the wind blew over a fifth wheel trailer along with a 4-wheeler trailer belonging to Mike and Pat Willson. No injuries were reported in that incident.
