This is the last week to enter the Shop at Home 2008 campaign. The drawing for the prizes will be held on Dec. 19 at half time of the Emery High boys basketball game which begins at 7 p.m. at Emery High Spartan Center. Prizes include a new flat screen TV donated by Earl's Furniture and the Emery County Progress. Emery County has donated a family swim pass to the new Emery County Aquatics Center. Ferron City has donated a year long golf pass to Millsite Golf Course. The Emery County Economic Development Council has donated two $100 gift certificates to be spent in any Emery County business.

You can enter the drawing by simply filling out an entry form at these businesses around the county. In Emery, Randy's Service; in Ferron, Gilly's, Main Street Market and Grub Box; in Castle Dale at Magnusons Lumber, Ace Hardware and Stewarts Market; in Huntington at Ward's 4x4, Hometown Market and Earl's Furniture; in Cleveland at the Country Corner; in Orangeville at Food Ranch; in Green River at Melon Vine Grocery Store, Politano Grocery, Shady Acres, and the other convenience stores around town.

The Shop at Home campaign will continue into 2009 with prizes being drawn for on a quarterly basis. The campaign sponsors encourage all local businesses to get involved and be a sponsor by having a contest box in their store and donating prizes to the shop at home effort.
