GREEN RIVER-Heidi Renea Humphrey Gardner, age 37, passed away Dec. 17, 2008 at Utah Valley Speciality Hospital in Provo after a long illness.

She was born Feb. 9, 1971 in Springfield, Ohio to Roger Michael and Paulette Stewart Humphrey. She married Adam J. Gardner, Dec. 24, 1999 in Ogden, Utah.

Heidi shared a genuine concern for others and she especially loved caring for those in need. She enjoyed camping, boating, fishing, going on walks with her dogs, and was happiest when she was enjoying these outings with Adam. She will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her.

Survived by her husband, Adam Gardner, Green River; father, Paul Hugie, Ogden; brother, Shawn Humphrey, Lake Elsinore, Calif.; sisters, Shellie (Monte) Roderick, New Carlisle, Ohio; Michaela Hugie, Ogden; in-laws, Robert (Cathy) Gardner, Green River; and many loving brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces and nephews.

Preceded in death by her parents, sister, Heather Marie Weihing; nephews, Todd Colt King and Chase Weihing.

Funeral service, Monday Dec. 22, 2008, 11 a.m., Green River Bible Church. Family was at the church Monday one hour prior to service. Interment, Elgin Cemetery, Green River. Arrangements entrusted to Mitchell Funeral Home of Price where friends are welcome daily.
