Mildred Ashcroft Smith of Huntington celebrates her 90th birthday on Feb. 7. Mildred, a lifelong educator in Logan, was married to Verne C. Smith of Logan. She moved to Huntington in 1993 to be near her son, George Robert (Bob) and his wife Debbie, grandchildren, James and Geoffrey Smith, and her great-grandchildren, Will, Nate and Rori. Mildred also has a daughter in Virginia, Sande Neeley and her husband Brad Neeley, and two grandchildren, Kim Neeley of Detroit and Chris Neeley of Chicago. Her friends and family join in wishing her a very happy birthday.
