His favorite place was his property in Joe's Valley. He had many friends who shared a lot of great times with him. He is the reigning horseshoe champ of Joe's Valley.

John is survived by his wife Connie; children: John David (Katie) Wickman, Orangeville, Suzy Iorg, Orangeville, and Michelle (Blaine) Jensen, Cleveland; nine grandchildren and two great-grandchildren; sisters: Neldona (Wallace) Baldwin, Janet (Jack) Magnuson, Castle Dale, and his best friend Claude.

He was preceded in death by his parents, and brothers, Craig and David.

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, May 12, 2009, at 11 a.m. at the Orangeville LDS Chapel. There will be a visitation for family and friends one hour prior to the services at the church. Interment will be in the Orangeville City Cemetery.

Services are in the care of Fausett Mortuary.
