Green River Volleyball

The Green River Lady Pirates Volleyball team faced Monument Valley on Oct. 4 with the varsity battling their way to victory 15-8, 15-6. The junior varsity team won their first game 15-12, fell to Monument Valley in the second 15-11 and won again in the third game 15-2. The Lady Pirates Volleyball team is composed of: Tawni Bigelow, Emily Swalberg, Brittney Vetere, Rachel Dunham, Kelsey Swalberg, Whitney Bigelow, Aubree Dinkins, Ciji Vetere, Amanda Watterson. The coach is Dan Roden, assistant coach is Desirea Roden and the manager of the team is Jake Dunwoody. The Lady Pirates head to the region tournament Oct. 26 at Emery High with the first game beginning at approximately 2 p.m.
