County crowns new Miss Emery royalty

A new Miss Emery for 2009, Shelby Huntington was crowned on Saturday night at Emery High.

The contestants participated in a private interview in the afternoon followed by a luncheon with the contestants and their parents.

The evening competition began at 7 p.m. Talent, fitness in swim suit, on stage question and evening wear rounded out the competition. Eight contestants competed for the crown including: Kaitlin Potter, Jessica Labrum, Shelby Huntington, Allison Stokes, Tricia Boyer, Sabrina Wood, Sharel Gilbert and Leisha Magnuson.
