The children of Lee and Lorie McElprang announce the 50th wedding anniversary of their parents on July 27. They will be celebrating with a mutton fry on Gentry Mountain, where the couple spent their first summer together.
Lee and Lorie were married on July 27, 1959, in the Logan Temple. They made their home in Huntington where they raised their six children: Lesa (Scott) Miller, Lori Ann (Kerry) Larsen, Laurel (Parke) Killpack, Lynda (Mark) Glauser, Lynette (Leland) Palmer and Leon (Stacy) McElprang.
They have 23 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren.
