Our loving spouse, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, uncle, brother, and friend passed away July 21 at home surrounded by the love of his family.

Clinton was born Oct 24, 1934 in Emery, Utah to Martha and Arnold Jacobsen. He married the love of his life Joy Bowden on May 22, 1956. The marriage was solemnized on Feb 9, 1962 in the Salt Lake Temple.

He served in the Army during the Korean War and worked as a Civil Service Police Officer at HAFB for 26 years. After an early retirement from HAFB he worked 10 years as head of Security for Job Corps Depot. He also worked security at McKay Dee and Primary Children's Hospitals.

They retired to Scipio, Utah in 2001; Clint served as Campground Host at Maple Grove Campground for three years with Joy, a job he dearly loved because he could do the things he enjoyed most camping, fishing, and horseback riding.

He was a High Priest and served in many callings for the LDS Church.

In 2003 Joy, and Clint served in the Cove Fort Mission.

He is survived by his wife Joy, daughters: Linda (Mike) Allen, Peterson, Utah, Debbie (Richard) Stringer, Kanab, Utah, Shauna (FJ) Parker, Farmington, Utah, Ed (Terry) Jacobsen, Hesperia, Calif; Lane (Rhonda) Jacobsen, Nogales, Ariz; Craig Jacobsen, Tucson, Ariz; Scott (Lara) Jacobsen; 27 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, two sisters, and grandson Adam Bera.

Funeral services were held Saturday July 25 at 11 a.m. in Scipio, Utah at the LDS meeting house. A viewing was held at 9:45 a.m.

Graveside and burial services were held Saturday July 25 at the Lindquist Memorial Park, 1867 North Fairfield Road, Layton Utah at 3:30 p.m.
