Ryan Thompson leads fundraiser ride for Make a Wish to Wendover

The Make a wish ride was on Aug 22-23. It consisted of a 112 mile ride from Tooele, Utah into Wendover, Nev.

There were police escorts both out of Tooele and into Wendover. The group traveled miles and miles of salt flats. This is the 25th year for "The Ride for life" also this is Make a Wishes 25th anniversary and Ride for lifes fifth year donating to make a wish.

Ryan Thompson was the ride ambassador and lead the ride out of and into both Tooele and Wendover. Ryan led the group on his wish bike which was presented to him by the Make-A-wish foundation after his liver transplant last year. Ryan is in front on his bke and then Ryan's brother Cory, his brother Tyler, and His parents Tim and Yolanda Thompson all along for the trip.

This year there were more than 150 riders to take the long ride they donated over $26,000 to the Make A Wish foundation.
