Gary and Jolene Petty will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary on Sept. 11.
They were married on Sept. 11, 1959 in Ferron. They have made their home in Emery for the past 45 years.
They have three daughters; Cheryl (Brent) Ungerman, Christine (Eric) Brown and Michelle West. They have nine grandchildren; Andrea, Seth, Nicholas and Taylor Cox, Jamie, Gary and Caitlin Hansen, Damon Anderson and Taryn West.
They celebrated their anniversary with their family and friends on Aug. 29 in Salt Lake City.
