She was born Jan. 23, 1929 in Sunnyside, Utah to Horace and Isabell Kay Naylor.

She married W. Thuren Odendahl on June 19, 1948 in Sunnyside.

Beverly loved her family and they were her number one priority. She enjoyed traveling with her husband and family and sharing memories of all the places they visited. She loved dancing, music and playing the piano. Beverly was an avid Bridge player and was fond of her friends in their afternoon Bridge Club. Beverly will always be remembered as a loving and caring person to all she knew. She had a charming personality, a keen sense of humor and a contagious giggle.

She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and a member of Naomi Chapter #13, Order of the Eastern Star. Beverly worked at the CEU Library from 1987-2003.

The family would like to offer a special thank you to Dr. Glenn Etzel and his staff and to all the Rocky Mountain Hospice employees and volunteers that helped Beverly so much.

She is survived by her husband Thuren; her children, Gordon (Debi) Odendahl, Barbara (Bill) Fox, Keith (Mary) Odendahl; sister, Emma Lou Marsh, Stockton, Calif.; eight grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, father and mother-in-law, Walter and Lois Odendahl; brothers, LeRoy (Bud) and Thomas Kay Naylor; sister, Norma Rae Ferrin; and grandson, Ryan Fox.

Funeral services will be conducted at Mitchell Funeral Home in Price on Tuesday, Sept. 29, 2009 at 11 a.m., by Bishop Gerald Lloyd of the Price Fourth Ward. Family will be at Mitchell's Monday evening from 6-8 p.m. and Tuesday one hour prior to service. Graveside services will be conducted by Rev. Les Huseby of the Price United Methodist Church at the Price City Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to the Scottish Rite Children's Learning Center 1140 36th St. #160, Ogden, Utah 84403.
