Green River volleyball wins one loses one

Oct. 10 at the Volleyball game Coach Simmons honored his two senior volleyball players. Lydia Dunham, daughter of Kirk and Paula Dunham, and Brittney Bastian, daughter of David and Tery Bastian are the only seniors on the Pirate squad this year. Brittney has played all four years, Lydia has played for two years.

The Lady Pirates hosted the Monticello Buckaroos on Oct. 8. The Pirates were struggling and the Buckaroos extended no mercy winning in three games 25-17, 25-14, and 25-10.

Oct. 10 Green River was ready to take on Navajo Mountain. They went five games and they were close, 22-25 Navajo Mountain; 25-21 Green River; 23-25 Navajo Mountain; 25-22 Green River and 17-15 Green River.
