The children of Hugh and Shonna Peterson announce the 60th wedding anniversary of their parents.

Hugh and Shonna Maxfield were married Dec. 3, 1949, in Emery. They will celebrate 60 years of marriage over the Thanksgiving weekend with their family. Hugh and Shonna have lived in Emery all their lives and raised their six daughters there.

They will celebrate at a family gathering in Emery with their children and spouses, and their beloved grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Their children are Loretta (Gail) Grundvig, West Jordan; Elaine (Richard) Grange, Sandy; Colleen (David) Bott, Castle Dale; Maxine (Jack) Fielder, Castle Dale; Louise (Paul) Venturella, Provo; and Joyce (Tim) Frost, Provo. They have more than 60 members in their family.
