EHS wrestlers attend Manti duel

Emery wrestlers traveled to the Manti dual before the Christmas break and wrestled nine different opponents. The Spartans went 5-4 over the two days. They defeated Richfield, Manti, ALA, Gunnison and North Sanpete and lost to Fremont, Juab, Altamont and South Sevier. Altamont won the tournament.

Clay collard had the best tournament and finished 8-1. Spencer Fehlberg and McKoy Allred went 6-3 while Cort Jensen, Nathan Mecham and Chet Funk all went 5-4.

Jace Guymon, Hadan Hatch and Will Pittman all missed the tournament with injuries or sickness.
