As Christmas vacation drew to an end and with a new year dawning (not to mention the return of school) young thrill seekers took to the mountains to enjoy the thrill of racing down the slopes. Huntington Canyon is a favorite for local people to go to snowboard or sled and while there may not be as much snow as there is to the north, there are plenty of slopes to climb and there's not a long line of people waiting their turn in sight.
