Norma Beach Huntington beloved wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister and friend of many, passed peacefully from this world April 3, 2010, surrounded by her loving family and friends.
Born in Molen, Utah she was the second of five children of Loran Beach and Ruth Demer Beach. She grew up in Sanpete and Emery counties.
She married her lifelong love, Raymond L. Huntington March 18, 1949. Their marriage was solemnized in the Manti temple Nov 14, 1968. Norma and Ray raised three beautiful children, Susan Kearney, Lorie Dunsmore, and Lloyd Ray Huntington. She loved her family with a passion and tenderness that knew no bounds. Norma was a friend to all and a joy to be around. Her appreciation of all things and all people made her a role model to all. She was particularly noted for her love for young people, so much so that many adopted her and Ray as another set of grandparents. No one left her without feeling loved, important and appreciated.
An active LDS member, she spent her life living and preparing to meet her Heavenly Father and taught her family to do the same. She loved performing her church duties, especially temple ordinances.
Norma is survived by husband Raymond, daughters Lorie and Susan and their husbands Dennis Dunsmore and Sean Kearney, sister Lorain Carlson of Watertown S.D., brother Delore Beach of Wisconsin, grandchildren Amanda Huntington of Sioux Falls, S.D. and Jordan Huntington of Salt Lake City, Utah, Chad Dunsmore of Salt Lake City, Utah, Tyson Huntington of Orangeville, Utah, Kade Huntington of Clawson, Utah, and Jessica Huntington of Castle Dale, Utah, as well as two great-grandchildren, Boston and Logan Huntington.
She was preceded on her journey by her parents, her son Lloyd Ray, her brother Martin Beach and her sister Grace Behling.
