EMERY-Our beloved Donald Jewell Riddle returned to his Heavenly Father on April 2, 2010 in Salt Lake City, Utah surrounded by his loving family. He was born Feb. 14, 1943 in Detroit, Mich. to Jewell and Bertha Evelyn Neely Riddle.

Don was baptized into the LDS Church in 1965 and embraced the gospel throughout his life. He loved his missionary work. Don married Judith Morrine Cole in Spring Valley, Calif. on June 11, 1965. They were later sealed together in the Los Angeles Temple in 1969.

Don enlisted in the US Army when he was 17, and at 20 years old he enlisted in the US Navy. Later he served for seven years in the California National Guard.

He was raised in Southern Illinois on a farm with 10 brothers and sisters. His seven children and their families were the light of his life and his 32 grandchildren adored him.
