Emery High rodeo stirs up the dust

The Emery High rodeo club hosted their annual high school rodeo at the Castle Dale indoor and outdoor arena on Friday and Saturday. The Emery High rodeo club consists of Taylen Nielsen, Chans Hansen, Chase Sherman, Mackenzi Grange, Chandler Curtis, Teigan Adams, Cindi Stevens and Erin Gordon. Most of the rodeo team competed in the Carbon High rodeo on Friday night and the Emery rodeo on Saturday. The many events they participated in included: goat tying, poles, barrel racing, tie down roping, steer wrestling, bull riding, saddle bronc, bareback and team roping. More rodeo coverage next week and the honoring of the senior rodeo team members.
