LeRoy and Loretta Maxfield of Castle Dale will celebrate their golden wedding anniversary on April 30. They were married in Castle Dale on April 30, 1960. Their marriage was later solemnized in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. They have made their home and raised children and grandchildren in Emery County for the bulk of their married lives. They have five children: Greg (Veronica) Maxfield of Camas, Wash.; Wayne (Deanna) Maxfield of Castle Dale; Kyle (Robin) Maxfield of Springville; Lori (Brent) Hansen of Mapleton; and Brad (Callie) Maxfield of Payson.

The Maxfields have long enjoyed living in Emery County. They spend time with their family, traveling and working at the Manti Temple.

They will be celebrating their 50 years together with their family.
