Little Miss Emery 2010 receives crown, Miss Emery prepares for Miss Utah week

Ten contestants graced the stage at Emery High as they competed for the title of Little Miss Emery. The program began with an introduction by each of the contestants. After the introductions they competed in talent and party dress. The escort for the evening was Garrett Argyle. There were performances by the current Little Miss Emery Cambrie Bennett. Miss Emery Shelby Huntington and Bennett were the masters of ceremonies for the evening. Commissioner Laurie Pitchforth introduced the emcees and also the judges. After the competition each girl received a crown, flowers and a gift. After the tabulators were finished Aspen Hansen was named the new Little Miss Emery. She will accompany the new Miss Emery who will be crowned on July 17 to the Miss Utah 2011 competition. Contestants this evening were: Sophie Huntington, Jacee Atwood, Briona Jorgensen, Lacey Anderson, Ashley Behling, Jazlyn Richarz, Bethany Justice, Avree Atwood, Aspen Hansen and Brinlee Hurdsman.

The new Little Miss will perform at the Miss Emery pageant on July 17.
