Don and Sharlet Wells of Hanksville are celebrating their 50th wedding anniversary. The couple was married on July 29, 1960 in the Manti Temple.

They are the parents of six children, Lance and Lisa Wells, Chris and Sandy Wilkinson, Bill and Jennifer Wells, Russ Wells/McKayla Barr, Doug and Mona Wells, and Dan and Betsy Wells. They have 35 grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

A celebration is planned in their honor and will be held Saturday, July 31, at the Hanksville Firehouse at 5 p.m. No gifts please. Notes of congratulations can be sent to donandsharlet50@hotmail.com
