Christmas Emery County Style

Santa listens to all the wishes of county seniors.

Emery County has been busy these past weeks preparing for Christmas. Many activities have been held involving both the young and the young at heart. The Chamber of Commerce held their annual dinner for county seniors in Huntington on Dec. 11. The seniors were all treated to a dinner and a visit from Santa where many wishes were heard. The popular item on the gift list seemed to be a boyfriend. One lively senior wished that Santa would just stay at her house on his Christmas Eve visit. Many communities including Green River, Ferron, Castle Dale, Orangeville and Cleveland enjoyed community parties. Huntington City donated candy for the school children and they were visited by Santa one morning at school.
