Before summer is totally gone, there's time for one more rodeo. A rough stock rodeo event will be held in the Huntington rodeo arena on Sept. 25. The pre rodeo action begins at 7 p.m. with a stick horse barrel race that is open to all children who would like to participate.

The main event begins at 7:30 p.m. It might be chilly so bring a jacket and come catch the fun of the rough stock events. There will be bareback riding, bull riding and saddle bronc riding. A hide race will also be thrown in for fun, too. If you'd like to try the hide race or the other events you can call Tammy at 749-1471 to register. Rocking B rodeos will provide the stock and Rockin N Bucking Bulls will provide the bulls for the event.

If you are 5 years of age and younger you can get into the event free of charge. Youngsters from 6-12 will be $4 and adults are $6. A family pass is $15.

Will and Tammy Payne and the Rocking B rodeos wanted to sponsor a family friendly event that brings everyone out for a good time. The county is always in need of new events and things for families to do, so they want to encourage everyone to come out and enjoy this brand new event at the Huntington arena on Sept. 25. It might be your last chance to get out and enjoy the fall weather before winter sets in. The Broncs and Bulls all rough stock rodeo will be Sept. 25 at 7:30 p.m. Mark your calendars for some good times at the rodeo.
