A large boulder dislodged from the cliff face and rolled down onto SR-31 Huntington Canyon road on Oct. 27 at approximately 4:15 p.m. The Utah Department of Transportation was dispatched to the scene to remove the rock from the road. The Emery County Sheriff's Office deputies remained at the scene for traffic safety while the rock was removed. Sgt. Gayle Jensen stationed himself above the rock fall to alert motorists to the very large boulder in their lane of traffic.
