Carma Marie Willson Sherman
Carma Marie Willson Sherman was born Nov. 9, 1941 in Price to Rinda and Clarence Willson of Elmo, Utah. She died on Oct. 30 in Price.
She graduated from North Emery High School and attended College of Eastern Utah. Carma married Jack Sherman on March 15, 1960. She had worked for Carbon Emery Bank, and then retired from the Emery School District as the accounts payable clerk, a job she loved. Carma took great pride in everything that she did and strived for perfection. She had many talents from playing the piano, singing, needle point, counted cross stitch, sewing; her most treasured gifts will be the many afghans that she made for her family-each stitch made with love and a hug hidden inside. She loved to walk and stay active. One of her favorite activities was hiking the Grand Canyon which she did numerous times.
The most important thing to Carma was her family. She treasured all of the trips that she and Jack took to the Oregon Coast. Her boys were her pride and joy and she was very proud of the men they grew to be. She was so happy that her sons found wives she could proudly call her daughters. She talked often of her grandchildren and the love, hopes and dreams she had for each of them. She was happy to be a great-grandma also.
Carma is survived by her loving husband Jack E. Sherman of Huntington, sons: Clinton Edward (Lisa) Sherman of Huntington, James Evan (Aretha) Sherman of Cleveland, grandchildren: BreAnna (Carter) Robinson, Cole and Chase Sherman of Huntington, Miles, Elizabeth Jem, and James Sherman of Cleveland, and two great- grandchildren Harlee and Tenlee Robinson. Carma is also survived by her sisters; LoyDeane (William) Whilske of Elmo, Colleen (Art) Jones of Hennifer, Utah, Linda (Pete) Mottishaw and Carolyn (Dirk) Harris both of Idaho; brothers; Clifton (Mickie) Carter of Cleveland, Stephen (Carleen) Willson and Stanley (Juanita) Willson both of Elmo, and many treasured nieces and nephews.
