Public Notice

 The City of Green River, Utah is seeking bids for a contractor to do
grounds maintenance for the O.K. Anderson Park, Little League Ball
Field, and Ball Fields located on Pirate Avenue, grounds at the city
office and at the JWP Museum. 

Some of the duties are as follows:
 Mow all grass once per week between April and October
 Remove weeds as needed
 Edge along flowerbeds and fences
 Keep infields of the ball diamonds properly groomed/seed free
 Drag infields prior to Little League and Babe Ruth games
 Clean restrooms at ballparks after each game
 Clean city park restrooms
 Conduct regular policing of grounds and pick up trash as needed
 Remove leaves after they fall in the autumn
 Inform city of any equipment in need of repair
 Other duties as described in the contract

 The contractor is expected to supply his or her own equipment and
supplies.  The City will supply restroom supplies such as toilet paper
for the restrooms.  The contractor will be responsible for replacement
cost of sprinkler heads, valves, electrical boxes, etc. that are
damaged as a result of mowing operations.  This contract will be
renewable annually.       
 Proposals will be received at the office of the City Recorder, 460
East Main Street, P.O. Box 620, Green River, Utah 84525 no later than
4:00 p.m. Tuesday, July 12, 2011. Sealed envelopes must be marked

 The City of Green River reserves the right to accept or reject all
